Fun at the Zoo

We were able to meet our friends, Logan and Kim, along with Kim's sister Terri and mom Barbara at the zoo this evening. Summer Nights at the zoo is on Friday evenings, 6:00-9:00pm. The boys played for a long time in the splash pad. Then we made our way over to the bubble pool, hula hoops, and stick horse races. Logan and Jaymison covered each other in soap bubbles, including Logan's thick hair. I am sure it was fun to get out when they got home. Jaymison was feeling adventurous and tried out the one of the bounce houses. It was very difficult to get him out, we had to enlist help from a fellow bouncer. It was hard to stay cool, but it got more comfortable after we were wet from the splash pad and the sun was down. Jaymsion had so much fun that he talked the ENTIRE ride home asking us questions and telling us about his thoughts. I did not know two-year olds had so much to say.
When we settled down at home and had prayer, Jaymison was so cute. He started praying and was telling Heavenly Father all about his day and the fun he had. It was pretty adorable. He manages to surprise us and warm our hearts every day.

More Vacation Pics

This little train is located just outside of the San Diego Zoo. Daddy took this great picture of Jaymison and I as we pulled into the station after our second ride.

Come closer, you can touch the sting ray too!

Check out how high Daddy and Jay got the kite to go!

It does not get much cuter than a blue-eyed beach boy in his wet suit.

Vacation Pics

Jaymison was wowed by this cool fountain that simulated the sound of the ocean waves crashing on the beach.

Daddy and Jay would challenge the surf by yelling, "Come on wave!"

A trip to the U-pick strawberry fields were delightfully delicious.

Vacation 2008

Our summer vacation to California was one to remember. We spent 2 nights in Long Beach. Then a week at a condo on the beach in Oceanside. Jaymison loved the sand and the surf. We got to see Uncle Duane while in Long Beach, and our Johnson cousins while in Oceanside. We hope to go back next summer.
